Is there a relevance to the Emperor’s new clothes?
In the story of the emperor’s new clothes in order for the con artists to pull off the con, they said that only a fool would not be able to see the cloth. Therefore so no one else would see them as a fool they said they saw the cloth even though they really didn’t.
Is this the same as the bible saying “Only a fool says in his heart there is no God”?
I think more people than would admit have there doubts about the god myth. However, they fear being a fool more than having the courage of the little boy to yell…”Hey the Emperor is naked.”
