Question about Blackberry Data Service?
Okay, this question has a few parts.
I have a Blackberry Pearl with T-Mobile, and I do have the Blackberry Data Package with it as well. One of my questions is that if I download an application from the application store on my Blackberry, will it charge me extra if the application is free? Like extra data charges? I am confused because before I downloaded the Pandora Radio application it advised me that it uses a large amount of data and I should make sure that my cellphone plan has unlimited data usage. Is that what I have with the Blackberry Data Package? And also, does anyone know if the Shazam Radio application charges extra data because that particular application didn’t give me any sort of warning.
Sorry I meant the Slacker Radio application.
If you have unlimited data for your BB than you should be fine. The warning is for people who have a limit on how much data they can use per month. Example: VZW used to charge $24.99 for 10MB of data. Anything that is streaming is going to use alot of data (Pandora, I heart Radio, Shazam, YouTube, etc.) You need to make sure that you have unlimited data, that way you can use the internet portion of your phone without worries.
