What do you think of this: They are constantly replacing the crossing arm at NM 6 and NM 314?
I am willing to bet it is almost twice a week at this crossing and it is always the one for the westbound lane. The gate is either broken on the ground or you see a crew out there installing a new one. I am sure this is angering someone.
The gate is breaking because people are hitting it with their automobiles. Maybe they’re trying to duck under it before it falls, or maybe they’re just ramming it, or maybe they’re trying to drive around it and they clip it. They shouldn’t be doing it.
Maybe the county needs to put some cameras out there and catch em.
